A Rhythmic Refreshment
This album is like no other. It is completely refreshing in many ways. Its organic production and performance stand in stark contrast to the sterile sounding computer edited music of today. At the same time it does not sound primitive, rather it is quite sophisticated. Delicate and rich in its arrangements, it hints at both the innocence of childhood and the mysterious sides human life. The hypnotic rhythms pull you in, but never leave you feeling bored. This album is able create that rare combination of being provocative and light-hearted at the same time. Beautiful.
